Free App of the Week - Hyperburner

Free App of the Week - Hyperburner

Every week Apple makes an iOS app free to its customers. This week it's an exciting flight game called Hyperburner by Patrick Cook.

Hyperburner allows you to pilot a starship through an ever increasing harder 3D obstacle course. It does let you feel as if you’re piloting the Millennium Falcon, weaving its way into the depths of the Death Star in Return of the Jedi (OK, that might just be my boyhood fantasy showing itself).

iTunes Movie of the Week (UK) - Harry Potter Complete Collection £19.99

iTunes Movie of the Week (UK) - Harry Potter Complete Collection £19.99

Every week Apple presents a special offer on some of the movies in their iTunes Store. This week I thought I'd highlight a special offer consisting of no fewer that eight movies. The Harry Potter Complete Collection consists of all the cinematic outings of the plucky ‘the boy who lived’ wizard with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Now you, a mere muggle, can follow the adventures of Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, as they battle the evil Voldemort, along with an expansive cast of characters played by some of the cream from British cinema.

Free App of the Week - Love You To Bits

Every week Apple makes an iOS app free to its customers. This week is a gorgeous looking point-and-click adventure called 'Love You To Bits' by Alike Studio.

You play a young astronaut who witnesses his robot girlfriend (don't ask) blown to bits and sucked through a wormhole. He sets out on a mission to put those bits back together so he can reunite with his beloved bot.

iTunes Movie of the Week - Where it All Began Offer

iTunes Movie of the Week - Where it All Began Offer

This week appears to be a little different on Apple’s iTunes UK Movie Store. Instead of the usual ‘Movie of the Week’, they are offering an assortment of first instalments on movie franchises priced at either £2.99 or £3.99. I have included a list of some of my favourites you might wish to purchase as these very attractive prices, although there are several more you can pick up if your tastes differ from mine. These offers do not usually last too long so grab them while you can.

Elobeth Soft Sports Silicone Bracelet Strap Review

Elobeth Soft Sports Silicone Bracelet Strap Review

The latest band I've added to my collection is  the Elobeth Soft Sports Silicone Bracelet Strap. It's obviously styled after the recently released Nike Apple Watch bands and appears to match the very same colour options. I opted for the rather striking black/volt version and have pretty much been wearing it every day since.

Free App of the Week - Nightgate

Every week Apple makes an iOS app free to its customers and this week we have a rather interesting game with a Tron-like atheistic.

Nightgate by Semidome Inc. takes place in the future inside a computer imagined landscape. You must use dexterity to pass through various gates and avoid obstacles while trying to unlock the next level. The game is very stylised and entertaining.

The Mac & Forth Show 102 - It's Full of Rumours

The Mac & Forth Show 102 - It's Full of Rumours

This week I am joined by Alan Vickers and Ric McCorriston as we go over the weeks Apple and tech related news.

I finally make my Twitter feed usable again. M&F is now available in Apple News. Apples announces a date and new venue for WWDC. The iPad gets some adverts again, finally. Lawmakers decide if we can ‘Fix it’. Imagine if Apple bought Imagine and there are so many rumours floating about.
