The UK iTunes Store is offering another opportunity to ‘Build Your Collection’. This time the movie selection comes from the 80’s. You can currently grab a selection of top movies to add to your, if it’s like mine, expanding library of classics.Read More
As they did last week the UK iTunes Store appears to be hosting another build your collection week. This time there is a selection of films from the 70's. As usual, iTunes has a few other movies on offer this week, namely Beethoven (£4.99) and Crazy Stupid Love (£3.99) but I thought I'd pick a few from the 70's collection to highlight.
The seventies was an exciting time for cinema, with many of the world famous directors we know today making their first real forays into feature films. Also, the invention of much smaller cameras allowed directors to get out of the studios sound stages and onto the streets to capture a more gritty real world visual.Read More
Each week I usually highlight the Movie of the Week from Apple on the UK iTunes Store. However, this week it appears Apple is having another ‘Build Your Collection’ event and offering a number of great movies at fantastic prices. As a result I have listed a few of my personal favourites and ones of interest below. When these offers occur you can usually find similar bargains on other digital marketplaces as well.Read More

Every week Apple makes an iOS app free to its customers. This week it's an exciting flight game called Hyperburner by Patrick Cook.
Hyperburner allows you to pilot a starship through an ever increasing harder 3D obstacle course. It does let you feel as if you’re piloting the Millennium Falcon, weaving its way into the depths of the Death Star in Return of the Jedi (OK, that might just be my boyhood fantasy showing itself).Read More

Every week Apple presents a special offer on some of the movies in their iTunes Store. This week I thought I'd highlight a special offer consisting of no fewer that eight movies. The Harry Potter Complete Collection consists of all the cinematic outings of the plucky ‘the boy who lived’ wizard with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Now you, a mere muggle, can follow the adventures of Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, as they battle the evil Voldemort, along with an expansive cast of characters played by some of the cream from British cinema.Read More
