Bit of a different tact this week as Alan Vickers joins Karl Madden to discuss the weeks Apple related news. However, they are soon diverted to the current state of Apple reporting and their suspicion of the growing trend to focus more on opinion pieces rather than actual news...of which they naturally share their opinion.Read More
The iOS 11 Public beta is out and so we waste no time installing it on our devices, with some mixed results. Also, this week marks the 10th Anniversary of the release of the original iPhone, luckily you can still get one for a mere $20,000….wait, what? Alan Vickers joins me to discuss the week’s Apple related news once again.Read More
It’s been a week since WWDC and we’ve all had some time to mull over what we thought, discover some new things and even purchase some new kit. This week Alan Vickers, Dean Murphy (Crystal AdBlock) and returning Ric McCorriston (Fresh-Tech) join Karl Madden to mull over Apple’s recent event, software and hardware.Read More
Apple has revealed their plans for iOS, MacOS, TVOS and WatchOS at WWDC. They also announced a number of new products and updates. This week Alan Vickers and Don McAllister (ScreenCastsOnline) join me to discuss their thoughts on what Apple has laid out for the year ahead. Apologies for the slightly longer show than usual but we had a lot to get through.Read More
On this weeks show Alan Vickers and Dean Murphy (Crystal AdBlock) discuss the week’s Apple related news before we all turn our attention to what we want to see from Apple during the upcoming WWDC Keynote. As they did last week the UK iTunes Store appears to be hosting another build your collection week. This time there is a selection of films from the 70's. As usual, iTunes has a few other movies on offer this week, namely Beethoven (£4.99) and Crazy Stupid Love (£3.99) but I thought I'd pick a few from the 70's collection to highlight.
The seventies was an exciting time for cinema, with many of the world famous directors we know today making their first real forays into feature films. As a result I have listed a few of my personal favourites and ones of interest below. When these offers occur you can usually find similar bargains on other digital marketplaces as well.Read More

Every week Apple makes an iOS app free to its customers. This week it's an exciting flight game called Hyperburner by Patrick Cook.
Hyperburner allows you to pilot a starship through an ever increasing harder 3D obstacle course. It does let you feel as if you’re piloting the Millennium Falcon, weaving its way into the depths of the Death Star in Return of the Jedi (OK, that might just be my boyhood fantasy showing itself).Read More
